Essential oils have been used for centuries to uplift the mood, promote healthy skin, and for medicinal purposes. As a mom, I find a lot of uses for essential oils with my kids and for myself.
Today’s post is just for women. I am going to share the top 5 essential oils for women and recipes to help with common ailments, skin, perfumes, and more!

#1 Clary Sage
Clary sage essential oil is steam distilled from the flower of the clary sage plant. It is native to the Mediterranean and Europe. It is a well-known essential oil for women as it can help bring on labor and help with postpartum depression.

Rose essential oil is steam distilled from the flower and can be very expensive. If you don’t have rose essential oil, geranium is a good substitute and much more affordable.

Make a roller bottle with 5 drops of each essential oil and then top off with a carrier oil. Apply to pulse points, back of the neck, and down the spine.
Essential Oils for Perfume
I have shared a post all about making your own perfume, so be sure to check that out! My favorite essential oils for perfume are rose, jasmine, and lavender. I love the aroma of floral oils and how they calm and relax.
To make perfume, you can make a roller bottle with 30 drops of your choice of essential oils in a 10mL roller bottle and top it off with a carrier oil.
Or you can make a body mist by mixing the essential oils with water or witch hazel in a glass spray bottle.
Apply to the chest and wrist as needed.

You can make perfume by essential oils to vodka just add the oils and keep in a dark place and review it every week use your own judgement when you think it is ready.
