ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES FOR ROLLER BOTTLES
Making essential oil roller blends can seem a bit overwhelming, but I promise it is much easier than you think. Truly pure oils are generally too potent to apply directly to the skin. Roller bottles are the best way to use essential oils topically because they can be blended and diluted just the way you want.
I have a whole post dedicated to how to make an essential oil roller bottle, so I won’t go into much detail, but it is as simple as adding essential oils and a carrier oil together. The recipes I am sharing below are using a 10mL roller bottle and are diluted for ages 13 and up.
HOW TO FILL ROLLER BOTTLES
- Add 15-30 drops of essential oil to the 10mL roller bottle; 10mL is the standard size. If you use a different size, be sure to adjust the recipe accordingly.
- Top the roller bottle off with a carrier oil. My favorite carrier oil is fractionated coconut oil. See more carrier oil options here.
- Snap the roller bottle lid onto the bottle.
- Shake well and store for up to one year.
