With a large stash of essential oils in my home, I can hardly decide what to bring with me when I am out of the house. These 5 essential oil rollerball blends are the ones I never leave town without. I will show you exactly how to make them, how to use them, and why these are a must-have.

I never get far without an essential oil roller bottle (or ten) in my bag.  Essential oils can come in handy multiple times a day, and I like to be prepared for when I need them.  Keeping these essential oil roller blends with me helps cut down on the number of individual oils I have to carry around daily.

These are the blends I use most often on myself and my children.  You don’t have to be a mom to enjoy these recipes; it is safe to say that these 5 will come in handy for pretty much everyone!

ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPES FOR ROLLER BOTTLES

Making essential oil roller blends can seem a bit overwhelming, but I promise it is much easier than you think.  Truly pure oils are generally too potent to apply directly to the skin. Roller bottles are the best way to use essential oils topically because they can be blended and diluted just the way you want.

I have a whole post dedicated to how to make an essential oil roller bottle, so I won’t go into much detail, but it is as simple as adding essential oils and a carrier oil together. The recipes I am sharing below are using a 10mL roller bottle and are diluted for ages 13 and up.

HOW TO FILL ROLLER BOTTLES

  1. Add 15-30 drops of essential oil to the 10mL roller bottle; 10mL is the standard size. If you use a different size, be sure to adjust the recipe accordingly.
  2. Top the roller bottle off with a carrier oil. My favorite carrier oil is fractionated coconut oil. See more carrier oil options here.
  3. Snap the roller bottle lid onto the bottle.
  4. Shake well and store for up to one year.

Oh boy, is this the one I need every single day?  I try and try to live a more stress-free life, but kids. Life with kids is so rewarding but so stressful. They are always in need of something, and I am only one person. Anyway, I love using essential oils to help with stress and anxious feelings.

What could you use in place of Frankincense for the calming blend? I’m out of frank!

Thank you for sharing this information.
I’d love to purchase the wooden container displayed at the hey top of this blog post. I absolutely love the drawer for storing roller ball blends beneath the main compartment. Do you mind sharing where I can buy it? 🙂
