Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the cast-iron skillet or pizza stone into the oven while it is preheating.
Once the oven is preheated, carefully remove the skillet or stone from the oven. (wear oven mitts!)
Drizzle the pan with avocado oil and then pour the sourdough starter into the preheated skillet or stone.
Drizzle the crust with avocado oil and sprinkle with salt and seasonings.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the crust is crispy.
SAUSAGE PIZZA RECIPE
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Spread the marinara sauce onto the pre-baked sourdough pizza crust.
Add cheese generously over the whole pizza.
Top with sausage, pepper, and onions.
Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and toppings are hot. About 10 minutes.

Notes
Since we are using straight sourdough starter for this recipe, it is going to be sticky. This is why we need to make this in a cast-iron skillet or on a pizza stone.
It is also important to preheat the skillet or stone before putting the dough onto the skillet. This will prevent it from sticking. When cooking anything in a cast-iron skillet, it is always best to preheat it first.
Feel free to substitute the sausage, onion, or pepper for your favorite pizza toppings.
