Sprinkle your toilet with about a 1/2 a cup of baking soda. It doesn't have to be exact, just a gentle coating in the bowl.

Fill a spray bottle with vinegar and lemon essential oil. The lemon essential oil is optional but will leave your toilet smelling fresh and clean. Use 10 drops of lemon essential oil to 1 cup of vinegar. Substitute for the juice of a lemon if needed.

Spray a generous amount of the vinegar and lemon essential oil mixture over the baking soda.

Allow the mixture to foam up and sit for a few minutes before scrubbing.

Scrub the toilet with a scrub brush until clean.

Flush the toilet and re-spray with the vinegar and lemon essential oil mixture.

Repeat steps as needed. If you have stubborn stains, allow the baking soda and vinegar mixture to sit longer before scrubbing your toilet.
