These holiday spice soap bars are colorful, fragrant, and nourishing to the skin. With a festive blend of spicy and earth essential oils, these Christmassy soap bars make the perfect holiday gift.
Chop the soap base into small pieces and melt in a double boiler or a glass bowl set atop a pot of boiling water. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the essential oils.
Split the melted base into two separate containers. Stir in the mica powders, making a different color in each container.
Pour the melted soap base into the silicone molds, alternating between colors. Add a little bit of each color at a time to create different layers.
Allow soap bars to harden before removing from the molds and adding labels.
Notes
Melt and pour soap base can take a long time to melt down. I recommend chopping it into smaller pieces to speed up the process.
Work quickly! The soap base will start to harden pretty fast, so it's important to pour it into the molds as soon as possible.
For best results, I recommend letting your soap cure overnight before using it.
Store the soap bars in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maximize their shelf life.
Don't forget to add the label to your soap if you are gifting it! You can get free printable labels in my member resource library.
