Melt the beeswax and coconut oil together in a double boiler.
Take it off the heat, let it cool to about 160°F, and whisk in the essential oils from one of the blends listed.
Carefully pour it into the silicone molds, about ¼" or so deep and let them set overnight.
Pop them out of the molds and store them in a cool, dry area.
Notes
Safety Notes
Hot wax can burn, so you'll want to keep the warmer out of reach and let it cool completely before you move it.
If you have cats, I'd use your warmer in a room with good airflow that they're free to leave, and only for shorter stretches instead of all day. If you have birds, I'd skip essential oil wax melts altogether, since their lungs are so sensitive.
Tips
I let the wax cool to about 160°F before I add the essential oils. Essential oils are made of really delicate scent compounds, and the bright, light ones like orange and peppermint start to evaporate in hot wax, so adding them too early sends all that Christmas scent into your kitchen instead of into your melts! Just don't let it drop much below 150°F, because beeswax starts to set right around 145°F and you'll want it pourable.
The yield of this recipe will vary depending on your mold size. If you use the same molds that I used, you'll get about 15 wax melts.
*If you don't have a double boiler, you can make one by setting a glass bowl on top of a pot of boiling water.
Don't let any wax go down your sink, as it can clog drains. I recommend reheating the double boiler to melt the wax and wiping the melted wax off before washing the dishes.
