Mica powder1/8 teaspoon of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue
Instructions
Mix all the dry ingredients in a medium-size bowl. Stir until well incorporated.
Add in the coconut oil and essential oils if using. Whisk well.
With a spray bottle, spray the mixture with water until the ingredients hold together when squeezed in your hands. Only do one spray at a time, as you don't want the mixture saturated. (see video for reference)
Prepare your bath bomb molds by greasing them with coconut oil. Plastic easter eggs work well as an alternative.
Separate the mixture into 5 bowls, add a different color mica powder to each bowl. Start off with 1/8 of a teaspoon adding more as needed. I used red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.
In one side of the bath bomb mold, add red, then orange. In the other side of the mold, add blue, then green. Then add yellow to both sides of the molds. Firmly press the two sides together. Rub the excess mixture off the sides and set aside.
Allow the molds to sit for 24-48 hours or until completely dry and then pop out of the molds.
Notes
Store your bath bombs in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. A basket works well for this! For visual guidance, I’ve included the complete step-by-step video tutorial below!
