Ingredients
Deep Hydration Mask
- 1 ripe avocado mashed
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) honey
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) olive oil
Shine Boosting Mask
- ½ ripe banana mashed
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) almond oil
Frizz-Fighting Mask
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) honey
Curl-Defining Mask
- ⅛ cup (1 oz) flaxseed oil
- ¼ cup (2 oz) aloe vera gel
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) shea butter
Protein Power Mask
- 1 whole egg
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) olive oil
Scalp Soothing Mask
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) coconut oil
- 2-3 drops peppermint essential oil
Color-Protecting Mask
- ½ ripe avocado mashed
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) lemon juice optional
Overnight Curl Enhancer
- ½ cup (4 oz) rice water
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) honey
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) jojoba oil
Volume Boosting Mask
- ½ tablespoon (0.25 oz) apple cider vinegar
- ½ tablespoon (0.25 oz) water
- 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) jojoba oil
- 8 drops rosemary essential oil
Lightweight Curl Refresher
- ¼ cup (2 oz) aloe vera gel
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) leave-in conditioner
- A few drops of your favorite essential oil optional
Instructions
- Choose one of the recipes above.
- Combine ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- Apply to clean, damp hair. You can section hair for easier application.
- Leave on for 20-30 min. You can use a shower cap to prevent any drips or mess to clean up.
- Rinse your hair clean with cool water before following up with shampoo and conditioner.
Notes
Leave-in Times:
- All masks, except the curl enhancer, can be left on for up to 30 minutes.
- The curl enhancer mask can be left on overnight for maximum definition.
