Mince the garlic or finely dice with a knife on a cutting board.
Add the garlic to a saucepan, then add the oil on top.
On a really low, slow heat, warm up the garlic and oil for around 20 minutes. If the oil starts to bubble, reduce the heat to simmer. Take care not to overheat, as garlic burns easily.
Next, strain the garlic from the liquid and leave the liquid aside to cool. Discard the garlic (or use it in your cooking for dinner that evening)
The cooled olive oil is now your ready-to-use nail serum! Transfer it to a storage bottle and keep it in the fridge for best results.
